The Superyacht Forum and the METSTRADE Show

Voly and Pinpoint Works, recently showcased their collaborative efforts at the Superyacht Forum and the 35th METSTRADE Show at the RAI Amsterdam Convention Centre.

The Superyacht Forum aim’s to be a platform for sharing knowledge, inspiring innovation and connecting people within the superyacht industry. With keynote speakers addressing the world's largest congregation of industry-leading thinkers, innovators and executives. The breakout sessions and workshops give delegates an opportunity to participate, collaborate and contribute. While the interactive debates and The Captains’ Den are the main the highlights of the event.

Yacht Owners Representative Program (YORP) presented a live panel discussion at The Superyacht Forum. Pinpoint Works partnered with YORP, an accredited and pioneering new course which aims to set a new industry benchmark for the qualification of the owner’s representative role. Stuart Boyd - Head of Business Development for Pinpoint Works hosted a live webinar with a group of Owners’ Representatives at the forum, discussing why project management software is essential for a highly communicative role. The webinar opened up a lot of conversations around improving project communication in the yachting industry.

Followed by the prestigious METSTRADE Show, hosting over 1,400 exhibitors from 19 countries. Solidifying it’s status as the foremost trade exhibition for marine equipment, materials, and systems, with a spotlight on the luxury superyacht sector. The event hosted a number of topical sessions regarding the future and current landscape of yachting, from environmental sustainability, women in yachting and emerging technologies.

Voly Group, including the FX & Treasury team and Pinpoint Works, engaged with key industry stakeholders and clients at the show including yacht management company Dean & Waters, while absorbing the latest technology and innovations in the marine space. The proposed integration of Pinpoint Works' innovative platform with the Voly platform has been a catalyst for positive change in the superyacht build and refit market. This combination will unlock significant financial management improvements, cost and time savings, enhancing efficiency and precision in yacht project management, especially within the yacht build and refit market.
