With over 100,000 attendees, 1000 exhibiting brands, more than 1300 boats on display and spanning across seven locations, The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show doesn’t exaggerate its title of World’s Largest In-water Boat Show!

Taking place over 5 days, FLIBS attracts industry professionals from all over the globe, it promised an array of exciting experiences, innovations, and luxury set against the backdrop of sunny Fort Lauderdale, and this year the show didn’t disappoint.

The 64th annual show was focused on sustainability and innovation. Highlighting solutions and initiatives such as the reduction of single-use plastics, on-site recycling and plenty of sustainability seminars taking place across the show.

The Voly and Pinpoint Works team had the delight of attending the show together for the first time. It was an exciting and busy week for both teams, connecting with existing clients in the US such as, yacht owners, captains, yacht crew, management companies and industry friends while also making new connections.

The yachting industry is certainly thriving in the US. It was wonderful to meet so many people and organisations who help make the yachting industry what it is today stateside. Over the course of 5 days, some of the key stand out events were hosted by Boat International. The Superyacht Village was described as “A Paradise of Luxury”, now bigger and more lavish than ever, aswell as the Windward VIP Experience, which was an exclusive sanctuary experience offering guests a private indoor and outdoor retreat.

FLIBS 2023 turned out to be very successful boat show for both Voly and Pinpoint Works at FLIBS, experiencing a warm welcome everywhere we went. Congratulations to FLIBS for putting on such a great show, and a big thank you to everyone we met, for providing us the best US hospitality there is.
