Voly Goes Eco-friendly with New Sustainable Cards
Voly is proud to share that we’ve made a big commitment to be more sustainable in 2022 and beyond.
The VOLY PREPAID MASTERCARD® is used widely in the yachting industry across over 600 superyachts. It's an expense card that allows captains, crew, owners, family offices and management companies to pay for expenses, tracking all yacht expenditure on the go.
We are now delighted to share that our plan to “Go Eco-Friendly” has become a reality with the launch of a new Eco-friendly VOLY PREPAID MASTERCARD® this month.
We aim to be more aware of how our actions as an organisation may have an impact on nature, the environment, sustainability, and the entire world.
The Voly team have been working towards this initiative behind the scenes for a while, preparing and planning ways in which we can make changes to become a more sustainable organisation.
As a fintech and payment solution, Voly provide one platform for all yacht accounting, including cash, card, invoices, payments, FOREX and financial reporting. It’s this unique offering that compares to no other yacht accounting software.

As part of our commitment to reduce our carbon footprint, I’m proud to share that we’re gradually introducing our new sustainable cards. They are made from 76% recycled materials, with a new design. This is just the start of our mission to go green. We have more sustainable initiatives in the works. I look forward to our clients receiving the new Eco-friendly Voly cards.”
The cards are made using a higher proportion of recycled PVC, and have a much lower environmental impact versus standard plastic. Certified ‘eco-friendly’ by Mastercard, the PVC core is produced using material sourced from post-industrial waste, it features a degradable overlay along with the other non-plastic components including metal chip and antenna.
