Voly expansion plans come into fruition with 9 new team members

The success of our integrated financial management and payment platform in the superyacht sector and venture into the music industry has resulted in big expansion plans.

We are delighted to have welcomed 9 new additions to team Voly. 

Here’s a big shout out to the talented individuals who have joined Voly and Voly Music recently.

 

Ryan Williams-Reid

Client Relationship Manager - Voly Music

Voly Music welcomes, Ryan to the team. Having worked in the music industry previously, Ryan is a pro when it comes to managing the expectation of Voly Music clients.

Fun Facts:

“I’m fascinated with sharks! A few years ago I was lucky enough to dive with whale sharks, which was such an amazing experience. I’d love to take part in cage diving with great white sharks one day.”

Working with music clients I often get asked what music I’m into. I mostly listen to D Block Europe, Juice Wrld, Lil Uzi Vert, Future and Giggs. At the moment I really like Kislaw who is a really interesting up and coming French producer.”

Erfen Ceka

Client Relationship Manager - Voly Yachting

Originally from Greece, Erfjen is one of Voly’s multilingual Client Relationship Managers who assists international clients in English, Greek and Albanian. A friendly member of the operations team Erjen keeps colleagues amused with his smart humour and wit.

 Fun Facts:

“I love football, both watching and playing the game which also helps to keep me fit. Travelling and socialising are my favourite things to do, particularly trying out new local food and drinks on my travels, it’s a great way to get to know the culture of a city or town and meet people.”

Aidan Stephenson

Client Administrator - Voly Yachting

Having come from a multi-faceted customer-focused background, Aidan assists with the onboarding of new clients, while supporting them with new card orders.

Fun Facts:

“My main hobby is playing and making music in my band. Being able to get together with friends and write songs and play music feels great. I enjoy the creative freedom music gives me.

Randomly, I took part in a charity boxing match in early 2020 where I raised money for a brain tumour charity. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done mentally but it was also the most rewarding.”

Emily Smith

Client Relationship Manager - Voly Yachting

With a background in events and account management, Emily has eased into her role at Voly, helpfully assisting superyacht clients with their financial management requirements, while enjoying some laughter with her colleagues in the operations team.

Fun Facts:

“I used to be a professional Irish Dancer, travelling up and down the country on dance tours. We performed on some really big stages and theatres, it was an amazing thing to be part of and I loved it.

Now, I enjoy spending time with my 4 year old son, called Ronan. He brings me so much joy every day.”

Rob Bailey

Client Relationship Manager - Voly Yachting 

Rob’s previous career as a chef working for Simon Rimmer and Michelle Roux Jr. demonstrates his ability to multitask in busy and high-pressured situations. This skill follows through into his role at Voly, where Rob assists clients with the highest level of accuracy and support.

Fun Facts:

“I chose to leave my previous career in hospitality due to the unsociable hours. Being a father of two young daughters under 2 years old, I need all the free time I can get, as you can imagine they keep me very busy.

I’m a massive movie and gaming geek. In terms of travel, I’d absolutely love to visit Canada one day, mainly because I’m half Canadian and have never been.”

Richard Hope-Jones

Software Engineer - Voly Group

Richard loves being a developer, problem solving and creating code is something that he is passionate about. He’s looking forward to the opportunities working for Voly bring and the progression and experience the role offers.

Fun Facts:

“Being a proud Mancunian, I am passionate about football and Manchester Utd.

To relax I enjoy exploring new drinks experiences by tasting fine wines and spirits. My guilty pleasure is listening to Coldplay.

Shirleen Kneppers

Software Engineer - Voly Group

Shirleen’s role as Software Engineer within Voly’s software development team requires her to make important changes within the Voly platform that help improve planned software developments and user experience.

Fun Facts:

“I am very interested in space travel and space itself. I suppose this is why I love my job as a developer, I like piecing things together, solving problems, like puzzles. 

I originally come from South Africa where I was born and raised. I have a daughter who makes me very proud. My favourite place to go is Sweden, it’s such a beautiful place.” 

Finley Walker

Quality Assurance Engineer - Voly Group

Finley's role is to ensure the quality of the software developments are tested and work to the highest quality levels before approval to go live with new software updates.

Fun Facts:

“I’m interested in photography and film, and I also listen to a few different genres of music which include bid beat, Chemical Brothers, Rock and Grime.

One day I hope to travel around the US, it’s one of my ambitions to visit every state across America.”

Emmett Brown

Graphic Design & Marketing Executive - Voly Group

Emmett brings a visual and creative flair to Voly with his skilled graphic designs that help the marketing department communicate Voly Group’s branding and campaign initiatives.

Fun Facts:

“In my spare time, I create commissioned illustration works. This includes drawings, paintings and even a variety of murals in buildings. It takes me days to hand draw and paint illustrations on walls, but I find it rewarding and I am very proud of the work I’ve produced. Being able to freely put my ideas on walls for all to see is such a cool experience.”
